Mad Eliza's is named after Madeline Elizabeth, the little girl to the right, and daughter of the founders. This is symbolic of the kind of family organization we represent. Where are we going? It is a little early to tell. Maybe we will create a great craze and we have our hands on a future cake decorating and cupcake franchise success of the century. First and foremost, we are here to put a smile on your face with great gourmet treats.

Mad Eliza's came to life following many years of cake baking, cake decorating, and love of culinary arts by founders, Peggy Lynn Murnahan and husband Mark Aaron Murnahan. Peggy has decades of experience decorating cakes, but only recently decided to stop saying "no" when friends would repeatedly ask her to decorate their birthday and wedding cakes.

Who are These People?

Peggy Lynn Murnahan, Cakemaster: After nearly a decade as Co-founder and President of a successful Internet services company (present), preceded by a decade of middle-management in the banking industry, Peggy finally decided that it was time to take on a sweeter endeavor.

With the support of husband, Mark, and their three children, Peggy has long realized the benefit of following her passions in life and career. Cakes and cake decorating is a passion, and Peggy always receives great joy in putting a smile on others' faces with her baking talent.

Mark Aaron Murnahan, Other: Mark works with Peggy on decorating projects and provides marketing and support services for Mad Eliza's Cakes and Confections.

Mark is also CEO of YourNew.com, Inc., the author of three recent book releases for 2009 ("Twitter for Business: Twitter for Friends", "Living in the Storm" and "Diary of Betterment"), provides Internet marketing consulting, and is a race car driver/instructor.

"We believe that remaining very busy helps us to find greater value in what time we have, and it enhances our abilities. Although we are busy managing multiple companies, we find that it has given us more time for the the things that matter the most to us, our family and friends."
